Create delicious Artisan Bread using D'BakerAid and its advanced features. With its dough proofing programs tailored for different types of flour (white, mixed, or whole grain), you'll achieve perfect results every time. This recipe also recommends a Dutch oven for baking.

Ingredients:

  • 3 ¾ cups bread flour, divided (450 grams)
  • 2 ¼ teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 ¾ teaspoons salt (10 grams)
  • 1 ½ cups warm water, between 120°F and 130°F (360 grams)

Equipment:

  1. D'BakerAid
  2. Dutch Oven

Instructions:

  1. In the D'BakerAid's D'Yeast bowl (2.75q), combine warm water with a teaspoon of sugar, yeast, and (optionally) a small portion of the flour. Choose the yeast fermentation program according to the yeast type you're using. Close the lid until foamy. (Note: While fermenting the yeast separately is an important step, you can skip it and proceed to step 2, especially if you are using dry yeast.)
  2. In the D'BakerAid's D'Dough bowl (4.75q), combine 3 cups of bread flour, instant yeast, and kosher salt. If you skipped the yeast fermentation step, add the remaining warm water to the D'Dough bowl. Mix well.
  3. Select the dough program for white flour in the D'Dough bowl. Cover the D'Dough bowl with the lid and let D'BakerAid do the rest, following the recommended program duration, until the dough doubles in size.
  4. Please note that the step of fermenting the yeast separately is optional but recommended for better results.
  5. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and place the Dutch oven inside to heat up.
  6. Transfer the proofed dough onto a lightly floured surface and shape it into a round loaf.
  7. Place the shaped dough into the preheated Dutch oven.
  8. Cover the Dutch oven with its lid and bake the bread for 30 minutes. Then, remove the lid and bake until deeply golden brown, about 15 to 17 minutes more.
  9. After baking, carefully remove the bread from the Dutch oven and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.

With D'BakerAid's dough proofing programs and the use of a Dutch oven, you'll achieve professional-quality Artisan Bread with ease. Enjoy the delightful aroma and taste of freshly baked bread made effortlessly with D'BakerAid.
